Awesome hotdogs! Space is tight but way worth it. I got a hot dog with sriracha, kraut jalapeños but I wish I would have got one with chili because they looked and smelled great.

One of my favorite food places in Winter Park and probably the THE BEST CARROT DOGS in Colorado! So delicious ... I can't get enough!! I like to order the Carrot Dog with caramelized onions, brown mustard, blue cheese, and jalapeños, oh my! Oh, and the dudes in there are pretty rad too ;-)
(5)Abigail B.
The dogs are to die for! Tiny little place with a wide array of hot dogs and brats smothered in great toppings. Great price and fun interior. Excellent service, I would recommend this place to everyone! I had the Barny and it was delicious!
(5)Liz W.
Love this spot! Best dogs on the mountain. Such a great selection... Bison, elk, beef and more! And awesome creative toppings. It's tiny inside but if it's a nice day you can sit on the outdoor tables. And the kiddos love it!!
(5)Mista C.
Being from Chicago, I had to get the Chicago style hot dog. It was better than some I've gotten at home, and the service was great. It helped that the girl working there was a beautiful sandy blonde-haired mountain angel. My friends got an elk dog and a chili dog and both were enjoyed immensely. I emphatically recommend this place for a quick lunch or dinner.

Tremendous variety of hot dogs, brats, burgers; the owner is delightful! Fries just the way I like them, too.
(5)Nick S.
Wow that one small hot dog that comes wrapped in paper with all of the toppings stuck to it was in no way worth $7 do yourself a favor and go next door to the ditch and you can get a great burger, fries and a beer for less than the cost of a hot dog and fries at this place.
(1)Gloria H.
Wow! So many variations of dogs. I had the carrot dog and was amazed at how tasty it was.
(5)Sarai J.
Fraser Valley Hot Dog is one of our staple-go-to lunch spots in town. The food is consistently awesome and the service is fast and friendly. My personal favorite is a toss-up between the carrot dog and the elk jalapeno cheddar. The guys I work with are all about the cheesesteak. We're lucky to live here year round because we can fill up on this deliciousness whenever we want.
(5)Jennster S.
Tiny place, limited seating, but oh so worth it! I actually had a hamburger, the Danimal(?) and it was one of the best I've ever had. The kids had bacon cheddar dogs and hubs had elk bratwurst on first visit and wild boar the second visit (yes, he went twice it was so good). All dogs were raved about. We can't wait to return on our next visit to WP!
(5)Dev A.
The service: super friendly and helpful. The menu: extensive, with special orders no problem. The ambiance: tiny inside with a couple of picnic tables outside, but it's a dog place, not a Michelin-star restaurant. The overall: perfect for a warm summer day. I can't think of anything better than a gourmet hot dog with great toppings on a warm summer day.

Not exactly a "Chicago" dog; even by Colorado standards. The bun wasn't steamed. There was no celery salt. 3 slices of pickle and 8 slices of tomato was too much. And the inside was not only small, but the place was a dump. Who puts flower pots all over the cramped eating bars???
(2)Ashley G.
This place is SO good! Because of Matt & his delicious menu & friendly staff I've fallen in love with "hot dogs" all over again. And brats, and everything else in that phallic shape we all adore. Definitely a must when in Winter Park!
(5)Casey O.
Best place in Winter Park!! My boyfriend and I have to stop in every time we come up here (which is frequently!) He always gets the bison brat and I always get the elk brat. The staff is always super friendly. The food always hits the spot. The only time we are disappointed is when they're closed :)
(5)Bonnie C.
I don't normally go out seeking a hot dog. The only times I buy a hot dog are at a Rockies game baseball beer and hotdogs are a great pairing, My husband however is a fan of chili cheese dogs from 7-11. So on a beautiful fall Saturday we wanted an inexpensive quick bite to eat. Now that the WP 7-11 is closed and my husband had that chili cheese dog craving we stopped by the Fraser Valley Hot Dog. The locals and staff are super friendly and love sharing their favorite hotdogs. It's a pretty big menu with all kinds of hot dogs, brats, gryos, and burgers. I ordered the Chicago dog special they had - fries, soda and Chicago dog for $7.95. What a deal! It is the best hot dog I have ever had! It was topped with onions, peppers, pickles, relish, mustard and tomato. The hot dog itself is very tasty and the bun - well it was soft and has poppy seeds. My husband had the Notorious special bacon, cheddar and onions- one greasy mess - however we both agreed mine was better. Everyone has been raving about the fries- however I'm not a fan- they are thin and skinny fries- I prefer the thicker style. It's great to have an affordable option in Winter Park and these hot dogs are delicious. If you are a hot dog fan then don't miss this place.
(4)Michael B.
Imagine the best you think a hot dog can be. Multiply that by 5 and you have Fraser Valley Hot Dog. The Philly, brats, and burgers are outstanding. I've tried just about every item on the menu and truly believe every one is the best version of that food known to man.
(5)Steven L.
Wide variety of combos. Very good fries. Friendly folks. Eating outside is a must. Chili is spicy. Lots of toppings. Mmmm. You MUST TRY THIS PLACE if you like really good hot dogs.
(5)Rebecca J.
Seriously this place should be on DDD!! The best hot dogs I've ever had period. The menu is so creative & he uses super high quality ingredients. We make it to WP about once per month & this is my one can't miss spot! Told a friend about this place & her husband ended up stopping by 3 times in one weekend!!! There is very limited seating inside (barstools along the walls). Although we typically can find two chairs or a picnic table outside. Try the fries which I don't think are in the menu...his pepper seasoning is amazing. Finally service is great! Matt remembers many customers and always very friendly and grateful for the business! Now we just need to get Guy Fieri there! :)
(5)James D.
Best Hot Dog in the mountains!!!
(5)Salamander J.
This place is goddam good. I ate the elk and cream cheese brach. Holy shit! I didn't know you could do that with german dogs! And the guy behind the counter was a hottie - which made worth 5 stars.
(5)Papa B.
Had the "Chillin" dog - Chili, onions, cheddar. Fabulous food. Favorite place in Winter Park!
(5)Matt O.
Best cheap eats in Winter Park, hands down!! Buns steamed perfect- incredible selection and Chicago sports memorabilia, what more could you ask for!!!!! Nice Job!!
(5)Will R.
I am not a big fan of hot dogs, but the family went because a) they wanted hot dogs and b) they had heard great things. I was very impressed. A tiny place, with huge flavors. I had a bison bratwurst and it rocked. 6 of us ate with sodas and drinks for under $40. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who goes to Winter Park as a must do!
(5)Maryann M.
SO great!
(4)Margaret R.
I hqve NEVER had a bad meal here. get your food to go, though. seating is limited and space is tight. Try one of the wild game sausages, thy are freakin' amazing.
(5)Heather C.
Loved the Fozzy! The people working there were so polite and made us feel really welcome.
(5)Toni H.
I had the Elk Brat with carmalized onions, mustard, and green chili cream cheese. Yup its that good. I watched some of the other grommet meats come out of the kitchen this place has a lot going for it. Pheasant brats, chicago style dogs and allot of different combinations. Fraser Valley Hot Dog is creative and the food is made with care. Go in and enjoy, make sure to take in a little baseball while your there this guy really like the cubs, and wriggly field
(5)Michael S.
Fraser dogs are awesome. Everybody should try one.
(5)Ben D.
Great food, people and price. Want a good quick meal, check out Fraser dog!!!
(5)Wendy M.
My boys and I were looking for a place to grab a bite in town and we almost passed this place by thinking we wanted to do something different than hot dogs (we are from Chicago after all!) We were SO glad we decided to stop at Fraser Valley Hot Dog! We had the Elk Brat, the Boar brat, and a burger and all three were DELICIOUS!! Definitely recommend grabbing lunch there--I know we will do so the next time we're in WP.
(5)Lisa M.
Best food in Winter Park! Some of the best sweet potato fries I've had. The Elk bratwurst was tasty as was the Little D burger. Be prepared to eat outside. There is almost no room inside. Don't let that stop you even in the winter!
(5)Lisa C.
My husband loved the fact that he could get a Chicago style dog in winter park. Love the fries they are shoe string and tasty. The cheeseburger was very good also.
(5)Jaker N.
I've been several times and it's always amazing. I know it has "hot dog" in the title, but the burgers are fantastic. Honestly the best in town. I got the one with bacon and onions along with the sweet potato fries and it was great. It can be crowded, but trust me it's worth the wait. It's busy for a reason. We are lucky have this place up here.
(5)Marc F.
Happened upon this place while shopping for boots. Real Chicago style dogs in Winter park. I had the Dawg Father. It was great. Attached is a picture. The place is wonderfully decorated that the service was nice and friendly. The chili was excellent
(5)Kevin J.
Best chicago dog I have had outside of chicago. The fries were awesome as well! All the digs we had were good. I have heard the hamburgers are great as well, but they were out of hamburgers when we were there. Plan on it taking some time, as we waited about 15 to 20 minutes. They warn you about that, and it's worth the wait!
(5)Angie T.
Great hot dogs! Lots of choices, the fries were great, and the service very friendly.
(4)Damon T.
We stopped for hot dog and fries at this cool little spot. They had about 20 different dogs that are Chicago style, I highly recommend the Ellie Dog (kraut, peppers, mustard). Cost the wife and I about $20 for two meals. Very friendly service, mostly outside seating.
(4)Stacey S.
We had the cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. The burgers were fantastic - one of the best I've had in recent memory. We were here in the summer, it wasn't too crowded, so we grabbed a table outside with the kids. Had a great meal and will definitely be back when we're in town!
(4)Derek M.
We stopped by here on our day in winter park and what a treat. I had the Mikey dog, my wife had the ZB dog. Both were exceptional. Wish there was one in Arizona
(5)Jeremy L.
Been here twice during this past ski season. Amazing dogs!! Food is amazing and the dogs are perfect! So many selections. i wish I could have had one of each. Everything on the menu is great and I would suggest anyone who is in the area to come by and partake of the pleasures of this fine establishment. Would highly recommend for anyone. Great for families, kids, etc! The people who work there are super nice and make you feel at home. Not a whole lot of seats inside, so you'll most likely just eat the food on their outside benches.
(5)Matt S.
AWESOME place in downtown Winter Park. The Lil' D is the best burger in the county hands down. The dogs are delicious and true Chicago style quality. You're missing out if you don't visit Fraser Valley Hot Dog on your trip to Winter Park, or on a regular basis if you are a local
(5)Darlene N Duane S.
The place is tiny but huge in taste! We had the Dogfather, our daughter had the Barney. Both oh so good! The chili on the Dogfather was amazing! Ate our delicious dogs while looking at the photos that fill the walls. Great place, amazing dogs. In a word...yum!
(5)Darika S.
I had to try this carrot dog. It's a flavorful carrot with whatever toppings, I got Chicago style and a soft bun. It was really good. Like a salad on a bun, but I think the price was a bit much for a carrot. Hubby got the traditional Chicago Dog. It was also pretty tasty. It was really hot to eat outside and not much shade. Stop by the brewery next door.
(4)Jamie B.
This place is just perfect! It is tiny and there are only a few places to sit inside, and a picnic table outside. But you can go next door to the brewery and tell pass you your food thru a tiny window. The menu is very extensive and the dogs are wonderful! I love that there are small, medium, or large fries depending on how much you want. What i like best is that FVHD does one thing and does it very well.
(5)Debbie H.
Boyfriend was like......no way, I'm not eating a hot dog for lunch. I'm not 10 years old! Sorry BF, you again proved you should remain quiet (love ya though) We had a bison and an elk dog. They were good on there on, but then came the caramelized onions and the cheese. Oh... Yes please. We left happy and full. BF got a big kiss too!!
(4)David M.
After passing by FVHD several times on the ski bus to and from the ski hill, I finally had the opportunity to stop in with my 8 year old son today. I had the beer brat (fully loaded with mustard, grilled onions, and sauerkraut), he had just a plain Vienna dog with ketchup. We did not have fries, as it was past the lunch hour. The place is very small, but there is no pretense here - it's a corner hot dog joint. The food arrived relatively quickly, though there were only a couple of orders ahead of us. This is made to order and I would expect that during the lunch hour the wait might be a bit longer. The beer brat gets a thumbs up from me. I asked for it well done and it came split - just the way I like it. My son's dog got inhaled - and got a thumbs up as well. I will definitely be back to try some of the more exotic meats, and other items on the menu (a carrot dog?). In short, a great place to stop and grab a quick meal, made to order. Shame to see people rolling into McDonald's across the street when this place is local, and great.
(4)Kathleen W.
We make a point to go to Fraser Valley Dog whenever we're in Winter Park. The servers are really friendly and the hot dogs are really tasty. I love the vegie carrot "dog" with slaw and my kids love the kids' dogs. Prices are also very reasonable. There's hardly any seating inside but a nice picnic table out front where you can sit on a sunny day.
(5)Jade a.
moved to fraser about a month and a half ago. I finally tried this place. AMAZING and all I got was a hot dog with chili. I am going to be going back quite often. They have an awesome menu....both unique and classic options. There is Chicago cubs/blackhawks/bears stuff everywhere....and being a fan of both....I am so happy I trued this place!!! Amazing food!
(5)Andrew M.
Great place to grab a gourmet hot dog! Owner operated which is always a bonus. He was very friendly and gave us some good suggestions. I ended up ordering the Elk Jalepeno Cheddar Bratwurst, my wife and friend got the Chillin Dog and my other buddy got the Fozzy Dog. All were delicious and made to order in front of us. They have Coke in bottles too! The atmosphere was cool with Chicago themed memorabilia on the walls and some Dead playing on the stereo. The place is small but conveniently located right off of Hwy 40 in Winter Park. Head there to replace some calories after a day off shreddin' the gnar! You won't regret it.
(5)Kathy H.
What a great little (I will emphasize LITTLE) dog hut! If you blink, you will miss it... The inside has stool / wall seating only - 9 spots total. If you go at lunch time, prepare to eat outside or take your meal to go. So worth it though!!! My husband had two Chicago dogs and delicious thin shoestring fries. Hot & fresh! I had he bison brat with cheddar and sautéed onions MMMMM I can't do spicy so I passed On he accompanying jalapeño cream cheese, but I'm sure it was great. Good stuff. We will be back!!!
(5)DJ Z.
Great selection, very friendly, we were on the fence about just a hot dog but trust me, it's plenty, great fries too!
(5)George W.
This place is the BOMB! Matt's hot dogs are great, but the burgers are even better!!!!
